Attention all actors and dancers!

From freestyle hip hop to the hottest crunk and snap dances, The Face Off is searching for the baddest dancers in the “A”. Runaway Media Inc. is having an open casting call for the “Face Off” Hip-Hop Dance Competition DVD.

The Face Off competition is an impulsive and improvisational street battle that selects the hottest dance crews and individual performers in the south.

The event kicks off with a one day intense, in your face, high performance street and hip hop dance contest in Atlanta. The Face Off will be taped before a live audience for a straight to video release.

Mallard Group Media is currently serving as the Executive Producers of “Rhythm”, a new dance movie from the producers of “You Got Served”.

The winner of the Face Off will have the opportunity to appear in the upcoming dance film “ Rhythm” and will receive additional prizes from major urban clothing and shoe retailers will also be awarded.

Actors: We are seeking actors of all races between the ages of 7-19. Previous acting experience is preferred. Please be prepared to perform a monologue. Please bring a hard copy of your headshot and resume. Performers with little to no acting experience will be considered for extra work.

Dancers: We are seeking dancers of all races between the ages of 7-19. We will select 10 individual performers and 10 groups to participate in the final Face Off. We will audition individual performers and groups. Groups are limited to five.

There are no specific dress requirements.
Individuals - Come prepared with 60 seconds of your own choreography. Music will be provided.
Groups - Come prepared with 2 minutes of your own choreography and music.

Audition Location: Auditions will be held Saturday, June 3rd 2006 at Nick Conti’s Professional Actor’s Studio located at 2849 Piedmont Road, NE Atlanta, GA 30305 from 10 am – 6 pm.
