Want to learn German Folk Dancing? A German performance group here in Atlanta is looking for people of all ages who want to learn German Folk Dancing. If you think that you can’t dance then we will teach you, it’s been done before. This is a good opportunity to do something with the family and share the German culture. You don’t have to join our group or pay any fee; we enjoy spreading German and Austrian culture through dance and song. These are traditional dances including the Schuplattel (where the men get to show off by slapping their lederhosen and shoes), Waltzing, Bavarian Ländler, Kreuz König, Bandltanz, etc. For the serious dancer you can join the group and perform with us at Oktoberfest and other events.
